Symptoms: Symptoms typically start 2 to 10 days after exposure and include watery diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, cramps, and fever. Prevention & Advice: The health unit urges anyone experiencing symptoms to stay home. Frequent handwashing with soap and water is essential, as alcohol-based hand sanitizers are ineffective against this specific parasite. Both primary and junior students were given the opportunity to try events that might be new to them, and test themselves as they participated and cheered each other on. It was a wonderful vibe across the school! A big thank you to all the staff and student leaders who helped in organizing and facilitating these active, shared learning experiences for our students at Centennial! EQAO Assessments begin this week for students in grade 3. Our school team has done a wonderful job of ensuring our students were engaged in the required learning to prepare them for all components of the assessment, and have access to supports that will allow them to show their skills in literacy and numeracy. Our grade 6 students will begin next week.
