Dear Families,

We have a few important updates and celebrations to share with you:

Progress Reports

Progress Report Cards and Kindergarten Communication of Learning will be sent home on Thursday, November 13. Please review these reports and reach out to your child’s teacher if you have any questions.

Remembrance Day Service

Our school will hold a Remembrance Day Service on Tuesday November 11th at 10:00. Families are welcome to attend. Thank you to our staff and students for their contributions, including artwork and student readings such as In Flanders Fields and a French poem. We look forward to honoring this important day together.

Yard Project Update

The contractor will be removing the fencing for the winter. In the spring, the field will be reseeded and fertilized, which may require temporary fencing in some areas.

Words Matter Campaign

Centennial applied and has been selected as one of 125 schools across Ontario to participate in the Harmony Words Matter Campaign, which promotes safer, more respectful schools. We are excited to share resources and activities throughout the year to support this initiative. More information can be found on the website: https://harmony.ca/words-matter/

Celebrating Our Staff

A big thank you to our incredible staff at Centennial for their dedication—whether it’s organizing sports, supporting student learning, planning events, or creating a welcoming environment. Your efforts make a difference every day!

A big farewell to Mr. Donnie our Head Caretaker as he transitions to his new hold at Joyceville Public School which is closer to home and the fishing! Thank you for your contributions during your years at Centennial - staff and students will miss you and your guitar playing. : )

Thank you for your continued support in making Centennial a safe and caring place for all students.
