Open House

Dear Families,

As we begin another exciting week at school, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible learning happening across our classrooms. Our students continue to show curiosity, creativity, and resilience as they explore new academic challenges and deepen their understanding of the world around them! One month down, and so much more learning to go!

Open House Success!

What a tremendous turnout at our Open House and Family BBQ. Students thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to show the important people in their lives the school, their classrooms, and share time together. Thank you for coming, it was a wonderful way to bring our school community together!

PA Day Reminder
As a reminder, Friday, October 10th, is a Professional Activity Day for staff. There is no school for students. Staff will be engaged in learning.

Centennial ROCKED Terry Fox!!!

Congratulations Comets! We surpassed our $500 goal this year and raised $663!!! Way to go!

BINGO

Centennial Public School is a proud and grateful partner of Play Gaming & Entertainment, a charitable gaming organization. Our roster is in need of new volunteer members! Your commitment to the Bingo Team involves a brief online training, 2-hour shifts as often as you can be involved but ideally 2-4 shifts over the next 7 months. The contract year for bingo, is April 1 - March 31st the following year. Our Bingo shifts range from Thursday evenings, and Saturday and Sundays between 12 pm and 10 pm. Please connect with us at centennial@limestone.on.ca if you are interested in joining the team! Money raised through Bingo supports the purchase of technology, supplements the cost of bus transportation, field trip expensses, important school-wide events, and so much more at CPS. We thank you in advance for your support and time.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We look forward to all the learning, growth, and fun that October will bring!

Ms. Fox and the Centennial PS Staff

Remembrance Day

poppy

We are in the process of planning for our Remembrance Day service. We would love to invite a member of our school community, a veteran or current military member, to speak at our school service. Please get in touch with the main office if you, or someone you know, is interested.

Vomiting and diarrhea remain 48 hours symptom free. Other childhood illness exclusions can be found here: https://www.kflaph.ca/en/health-topics/common-childhood-illnesses.aspx
