Dear Families,
As the crisp chill of November settles in, our school community has embraced the change in seasons with warmth and positivity. We began November as a month filled with meaningful learning experiences, encouraging curiosity and growth in every classroom. Alongside academic progress, we’ve taken time for remembrance and reflection—honouring the importance of understanding our past while shaping a brighter future. Together, we continue to foster a spirit of resilience and care as we move forward into the colder days ahead.
A friendly reminder that supervision in the morning does not begin until 8:50, students should not be dropped off before that time. Thank you for helping us keep students safe!
Remembrance Day Service
On Tuesday, November 11th, Centennial staff and students gathered for our Remembrance Day Service. Student leaders highlighted the significance of this day for us as Canadians, guided us through our moment of silence, and classes contributed artwork, poems and songs to honour the bravery and service both past and present.

See Yourself in Limestone – Student Census Survey
Limestone is committed to creating safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments for all students. To help us better understand how students’ identities and experiences relate to their achievement and well-being, we are launching our second See Yourself in Limestone Student Census Survey this fall. The census is a voluntary and confidential survey for students in Grades 4 to 12, running from November 24 to 28, 2025. It gathers information about students’ identities and their experiences at school. This data is then paired with academic information to help us understand what school is like for different groups of students.
Families who do not want their student(s) to complete the survey must contact Principal Lani Fox (foxla@limestone.on.ca) by Friday, November 21, 2025. Opting out means the student will not receive the survey in their e-mail inbox.

LUNCH IS READY - FAMILY SURVEY!
We’re now over halfway through our Free Lunch Program Lunch is Ready!, and the Food Share Project would love to hear your feedback on how things are going at Centennial. Our school community's input is incredibly valuable to improve the program for the rest of the year and develop future models to expand to other schools.
To help us gather well-rounded feedback, we’ve created three short surveys, one each for parents, school staff, and students:
- FAMILY Survey: To encourage participation, we’re including a giveaway draw for parents/guardians who complete the survey: https://forms.office.com/r/21VcZxFnJr
